Google Duo
Google Duo is one of the preferred video calling app. Utilizing the opportunity well, Google’s Sanaz Ahari Lemelson announced on her twitter handle that the new video calling feature on Duo to support up to 12 people at once. Google Duo has changed this feature second time since last year. Earlier, Google Duo only supported person to person video call which was then increased to the capacity of 8 people in a single video call. This 12 person video call feature makes Google Duo far better than Whatsapp which only allows only 4 people in a video call. However, Google Duo has to go through a long way to become better than Face Time which allows up to 32 participants in a single video call, Skype which allows 50 participants, Google Hangout’s meet which supports 100 users and many more. It is very easy to start a group video call. The steps are:
Open the Google Duo app on your phone and swipe up the menu at the bottom. Click on ‘Create group’, after which you can select up to 11 people from your contact list to make video calls.Tap ‘Start’ to start the video call.
Moreover, in her tweet, she wrote ‘More to Come‘ which indicates Google Duo is planning for some other features as well.
