Windows 7 reached the end of official support on 14 January 2020, and Microsoft stated that they will no longer release any new update for Windows 7 unless an extended security subscription plan is purchased. On 17th June 2020, Microsoft released the KB4567409 update for Windows 7 through that Windows 7 users can install a new chromium-browser.

Microsoft’s notice specifically mentions that this update is not for the Enterprise device, and is only for the Windows 7, 8.1 or later versions that are either Home, Professional, Ultimate, Starter, or Core editions.
