Redmi in a post on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo revealed that it would unveil the upcoming Redmi K60 series on December 27 in China at 7 PM (Local time). The Redmi K60 series has been in the news for quite a while in the form of rumors & leaks. So this is everything you need to know about the Redmi K60 series before its official launch. First and foremost, as you may already know. Redmi K60 has three smartphones under it! The Redmi K60E, Redmi K60, and the Redmi K60 Pro. The company also gave a glimpse of the upcoming K60 series via a poster! The poster shows a backside of a smartphone, although it’s not known which K60 series smartphone it is. Moving on, the K60 series smartphone shown in the poster features a curved back design and a Flat frame. It also has a textured back. Also, there’s a rectangular rear camera module that houses triple rear cameras with the LED Flash in it. The triple rear camera setup includes a periscope lens as well. The text written on the rectangular camera housing says, OIS Cam! This indicates that the phone supports Optical Image stabilization. Redmi K60 5G Series Specifications!
Well, all three Redmi phones with model numbers – 2212RK46C, 2212RK93C, and 2212RK75C have already been certified by the 3C authority of China. The Redmi K60 5G series is rumored to feature a 6,67-inch AMOLED display. The Redmi K60 and the Redmi K60 Pro are expected to come with a 2K resolution and whereas the K60E will feature a FullHD+ resolution. The Redmi K60 Pro 5G will have a Curved display. In addition to this! All three smartphones of the K60 series are rumored to come with a 120Hz refresh rate. Redmi K60e is confirmed to feature MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset and while the vanilla K60 is rumored to come up with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. Coming to the K60 Pro 5G will be equipped with the latest SOC from Qualcomm, i.e., Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Both phones will likely run on Miui 14 based on Android 13, and where the Redmi K60E will run on Miui 13 based on Android 13. As for the optics, the Redmi K60 5G series will likely feature a 64MP with OIS, an 8MP UW, and a 2MP macro; the two other phones are likely to get a 50MP camera with OIS. The vanilla Redmi K60 is likely to feature a huge 5500mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging support, whereas the K60 Pro will get 120W wired fast charging support and 30W wireless charging.
