The specifications of the upcoming Vivo X90 flagship series were shared by Ishan Agarwal in collaboration with Pricebaba. Before we jump onto the specifications, let’s get the usual out of the way. Like last year, there are three phones this time as well. i.e. the regular X90 5G, X90 Pro 5G and the X90 Pro Plus 5G. Onto the specifications of the X90 series.
Vivo X90 5G Specifications

On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie shooter. The Vivo X80 has a 4,810mAh battery capacity with 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging support. The device weighs 195grams and measures 164×74.4×8.8mm.
Vivo X90 5G Pro Specifications
The X90 Pro 5G sits between the regular X90 5G & the flagship handset Vivo X90 Pro Plus 5G. The Pro model will have the same display as its other sibling, i.e., X90, so there’s a 6.78 inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2800×1260 resolution, and 300Hz touch sampling rate! X90 Pro 5G will also be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200 and has the same RAM & Storage tech, i.e., LPDDR5 & UFS 4.0. Also, it runs on OriginOS 3 on top of Android 13. As for the cameras, the Pro model; also has a triple rear camera setup. The main cameras on the vanilla X90 5G & the X90 Pro 5G have the same camera & sensor, i.e., a 50MP main camera with Sony IMX 866 sensor & f/1.75 aperture. However, the second 50MP Portrait lens with 2x optical zoom & f/1.6 aperture is the main differentiator between the regular X90 5G & X90 Pro 5G. Also, the 50MP Portrait camera could be a Sony sensor as it was recently teased by Vivo. Lastly, there’s a 12MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera on the X90 Pro 5G is the same as X90 5G, i.e., 32MP for selfies. Coming to the battery, the X90 Pro 5G has a 4,870mAh battery capacity, which is slightly bigger than the X90, which has a 4,810mAh so it will be interesting to see how much of a difference the extra 60mAh makes. It has the same 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The X90 Pro 5G weighs 215grams & measures 164×74.5×9.3mm.
X90 Pro Plus 5G Specifications
Coming to the top of the line in the Vivo X90 5G series is the X90 Pro Plus! Although the flagship X90 Pro Plus 5G will share the same display specs with its other siblings. What sets X90 Pro Plus 5G apart is the processor and the Quad camera setup on the back. So let us take a look at the X90 Pro Plus 5G, as we mentioned above, the flagship smartphone has the same 6.78 inch AMOLED display with 120Hz re-refresh rate, 2800×1260 resolution & 300Hz touch sampling rate. As for the chipset, The X90 Pro Plus 5G will be equipped with the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 coupled with LDDR5X RAM & UFS 4.0 Storage. It will run on Origin OS based on Android 13. As for the cameras, This is what sets apart the X90 Pro Plus 5G from its other siblings. There’s a Quad camera setup at the back, which includes a 50MP Primary camera with Sony IMX 989 sensor with f/1.75 aperture; it is a 1inch sensor. A Secondary 50MP Portrait camera with Sony IMX 758 with f/1.6 aperture, a 48MP Ultra-wide camera with Sony IMX598 and f/2/2 aperture. Lastly, The X90 Pro Plus 5G has a 4,700mAh battery, which is lesser than both the X90 & the X90, which is interesting. Nonetheless, X90 Pro Plus supports higher fast charging at 80W, though it has the same 50W wireless charging. The X90 Pro Plus weighs 220grams & measures 164.×75.3×9.7mm. Well, that’s all for now.
